Overview

From 11th to 13th July 2024, Gospel Lighthouse Ministries Pakistan successfully hosted a spiritually enriching Youth Discipleship Camp at the scenic Countryside Chalet in Karachi. Under the theme “Rooted in Faith, Growing in Grace,” youth from various churches and communities gathered for a powerful three-day journey of spiritual growth, fellowship, and discipleship.

The camp was strategically designed to help young believers strengthen their faith, deepen their relationship with Christ, and grow in spiritual maturity as they walked together in faith.

Day 1 – 11th July 2024

The camp began early in the morning, as participants arrived by 8:00 AM full of anticipation and excitement. After registration and welcoming activities, the youth were introduced to the camp’s theme and schedule.

The opening session included heartfelt worship, icebreaker activities, and an encouraging message that set a tone of expectation. Camp leaders shared biblical teachings on what it means to be rooted in Christ — establishing a strong foundation that will help youth stand firm amid life’s challenges.

Various group discussions and prayer sessions facilitated personal reflection, building unity and deepening spiritual connection among the teens and young adults.

Day 2 – 12th July 2024

The second day focused on discipleship and spiritual growth. Through sessions led by experienced ministry leaders, participants explored key aspects of Christian faith, including prayer, the Word of God, witnessing, and biblical living.

Dynamic worship sessions were interspersed with teaching times, and campers engaged in small group fellowship times where they shared testimonies and encouraged one another.

Outdoor activities, team-building exercises, and scripture memorization challenges further strengthened bonds and reinforced spiritual lessons learned during the day.

Day 3 – 13th July 2024

The final day brought a deeper reflection on grace — understanding how God’s unmerited favor works in the life of a believer. Youth were encouraged to grow in grace, live in humility, and demonstrate Christ-like character in their families, schools, and communities.

The closing session included powerful worship, motivational preaching, and time for personal prayer. As the camp concluded, many young hearts committed themselves to living a life rooted in Christ with renewed passion and purpose.
